By renting a vehicle from KRC Car Rental, the customer (“Renter”) agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions, as well as the specific terms outlined in the rental contract signed at vehicle pick-up.
Minimum rental age: 23 years
Valid driving license held for at least 3 years
Drivers under 25 or over 70 may require additional insurance
A valid ID/passport and credit card are required
Rental starts at the date/time of pickup and ends upon return
Late returns may incur additional charges per day or hour
Extensions must be authorized in writing
The vehicle may not be used for:
Racing or speed testing
Towing other vehicles
Transporting illegal goods
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Off-road use or driving on unpaved roads
Crossing borders without written permission
Basic Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection are included
CDW does not cover:
Damage to tires, underbody, or windscreen
Negligence or improper use
Excess applies depending on vehicle category
Optional full coverage is available
Vehicles are provided with a specified fuel level and must be returned at the same level
Missing fuel will be charged at current market rates plus a refueling fee
Full payment is due at pick-up
A refundable security deposit may be held on your credit card
Accepted payment methods: Major credit cards, some debit cards
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before rental
50% refund if cancelled within 24–48 hours
No refund for cancellations less than 24 hours before rental or no-shows
The Renter is fully responsible for:
Traffic and parking violations
Tolls and administrative charges
Any damages due to reckless or unlawful driving
Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received
Damage, excessive dirt, or missing items may incur additional charges
If not returned on time, extra daily rates will apply
KRC Car Rental reserves the right to:
Refuse rental without explanation
Replace a booked car with a similar or upgraded model
Terminate the rental early due to breach of terms
KRC Car Rental is not liable for:
Loss or theft of personal belongings
Delays or disruptions due to unforeseen events (e.g., weather, strikes)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be handled by the courts of Larnaca, Cyprus.
